Just posting a reminder to let everyone know there are some fun and interesting things going on in March.

The SE KS dairy goat club is having their monthly meeting on March 8th in Altoona, KS.

For those of you that have fiber animals or are interested in fiber arts there is a Fiber retreat going on March 9-11th in Jefferson City, MO.

The coffeyville goat sale is March 11th.

Those of you that have some wooly or hairy critters in your pasture there is a shearing school going on March 12, also in Jefferson City, Mo.

For those that don't mind a long drive there is a goat workshop in Lexington, IL on March 15th.

The IKGA springfest is March 28th & 29th.

There is a "goat day" being held in Jefferson City, Mo on March 28th.

and the Newkirk, OK auction is on March 29th.

To find contact info, times and more information on these events just click on the word "Calendar" under the logo at the top of the board. :D

NOW...if we could just get some nice, sunny warm weather for these events that would be great wouldn't it? :D (If you all are wondering why I keep talking about warm weather it is because we ran out of propane tonight and it is COLD in my house! Luckily the propane guy will be here in the morning!

 I forgot too! I am doing the calendar with ya and I have been so preoccupied with the goat's kidding soon and getting things ready for that, that I totally forgot it was even a new month until last night! :D I am running about 2 weeks behind on everything I think! I totally understand about things getting hectic, especially this time of year! How are the goat floats doing today? :D

Pretty stationary. Other than to waddle over to the bale of alfalfa, they seem to sit in one spot. One large round spot!

I don't blame them! But they look good and healthy. It will be interesting to see how many kids they have!
