Mondy - I am a dairy goat idiot. What kind of goats are they? Lisa and Tracy are just gorgeous. I love their colors and patterns. And I had to go back and look at some of those pictures of kids again. They made me laugh out loud!

Very cute Raymonda!!!

Kikofairy I believe they are Alpines and one doe was bred to a boer it looks like and that is why the kids have floppy ears. There is a boer buck in those pictures so I assume he is the dad? is this right Raymonda?

I noticed the Boer buck, too. But the girls had me stumped. They are so pretty and sweet looking. Are they as good natured as they appear or is it all a front?

My daughter said she will post some more current photos soon. Most of those photos are older.

Yes, the more colorful ones are Alpines they are all very lovable. They are easy for me to handle even though I have some health problems. Amanda showed the large Alpine buck and he was very well behaved among all the others that were dragging owners around.

The Boers have always been a handful. They are more agressive and wilder. Not all of them but most of the ones we raised were. The last two years we did cross the Boer with some of our Alpines. We did better at the sale barn when we did.

But, I do not want to lose our Purebred Alpines either. They show well and milk well too.
I am glad you like the photos. They are all our babies. I guess we spoil them. They give me a reason to get out of the bed each morning.

Tracy and Lisa are my daughter's special favorites. :)

Everyone have a great day.
