While none of us professes to be experts, we are always willing to help in emergencies. If no one is online and you need immediate help, feel free to contact one of us and we will do our best to help out. If this thread should get long, we will delete resolved issues so that current emergencies are at the top of the thread.

I would like to add that in our discussion about starting this thread it came up that goats tend to be the animal on the farm that are the most difficult to get vet assistance for many of us. Vets just don't study goats in school and most meds are study/dosed for cattle and sheep. Any of us would be happy to share with you what has worked for us we are all learning every day. While most people I think would call a vet for a serious horse emergency I would be more than happy to answer any simple, basic health care maintance issues or concerns about horses.

I am always more than happy to help someone out if they have a goat question or concern; and if I don't know the answer I will be glad to help find it. If time is of importance and no-one is online to respond to your question here on the board, I don't mind people contacting me directly as well.

Just be sure not to ask Suzenne any herbal questions. She's adamantly opposed to anything natural/herbal.
