Hoping this link works and you can see and read about Juneau, AK. wolf Romeo.
He has lived around the glacier area for about 5yrs now, and is oddly friendly towards humans and their pets. The story as to maybe why Romeo returns every year is that there was a female wolf, she died in 2003 (they apparently were there at the Glacier Lake and woodlands together).
Since she died he returns every year, hence the name Romeo, and she was his Juliette.
